It's March

It's March.

I'm not sure how we got here, but here we are.

February brought complete insanity in the form of moving. March is started with it's own troubles, mainly teething in the form of four molars coming in at once.

But in everything Lord remains the same. He is still God. He is still good. He is still just. He still gives us reason to rejoice. He give us his peace. He guides. He provides. He teaches. He loves. He sacrifices. He cares.

I long for stability. A place to "settle down". And I frequently, basically all the time, look for it here on earth, my temporary home, instead of looking for it in the arms of God.

He is where I am stable. I can settle down in Him.

So as my calendar quickly fills up–seriously though, it's March 2– I will try and choose to lean into the Lord.

I'll end with this poem by See.Think.Write.Life:

"Prayer guides like a compass. In the most tangled forest I close my eyes and say the words that pull me in direction."
